why does this feel like an episode of "jerry springer"? |
|
You know he got the ratings. This is America. As embarrassing as it is, it's working for them.

5. you mean the part about the worker fired for not firing the state cop divorcing Palins sister? |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 02:27 PM by peacebird
or the part about the staff member fired for dating the ex-wife of one of "The Chief Dude"s friends?
or the part about Palins water breaking, and yet she is still tough enough to give a speech on energy to oilmen?
and then get on a plane to fly back from Texas to Alaska to give birth (again - with amnio fluid leaking)??
or the mysterious "mono" that kept the daughter out of school for months (tho not apparently out of bed with Levi, as she got preggers during it) Assuming one believes the timeline laid out by Palin.
and now the questions about whether Trig (dear gawd what a name...) was mom's or daughters and will daughter have a convenient miscarriage in a couple weeks?

6. Working for McCain's campaign, you mean? You gotta be kidding. |
|
This is terrible news for them. It might shore up a few votes among pro-life fundies, but the independents McCain needs to win aren't going to be crazy about voting for a mom of knocked up teenager to be a 72-year-old heartbeat away from the presidency. This whole debacle makes McCain look like he didn't even properly vet her. It's a disaster for them. No one wants their candidacy to look like the Jerry Springer show.
