So, which voters does the pregnancy thing hurt McCain with? If any? |

I think it will hurt the worst with Moderates who won't like the soap opera tone and a few women who will question why she would accept the VP spot with her daughter being pregnant. It most certainly will make swing voters wonder what is going on with Palin.
I imagine there are a few sincere Religious Right types that won't like this but they will vote for McCain anyway or perhaps stay home. For the most part I don't think the Religious Right will care.

2. All voters exept for the base 26%. Even people who are sympathetic.. |
|
and supportive of the Palins, won't want her daughter as an example to their own daughters.

...and then Governor Palin did what any good mother would do, protect the child who made a mistake, a fine Christian woman taking personal responsibility form her family.
That of course is if it is true,
If it is false:
The Democrat Party slipped the final nail it's coffin wen it tried to slander Vice-President Palin with an obviously false story defaming her oldent daughter.
But please, I've only been a Denocrat for 26 years, don't listen to me

3. I think it's more a matter of the whole "Palin thing," really. |

McCain's unbelievable lack of judgment and control in choosing her is going to cost him a lot of "soft" supporters, IMO.
I don't know that they'll necessarily jump on board the Obama train. But if they vote third-party or just sit the whole thing out in November, that's still gonna leave a mark! :D
Seriously, what a huge blunder for McCain and his handlers, choosing someone whose phony, fragile, manufactured image couldn't even hold up to a few days' scrutiny.
He's lost whatever touch he may have had, and could very well go from Media Darling to Laughingstock before he even makes his acceptance speech later this week.
