"Palin never got big with this pregnancy." - Quote, Anchorage Daily News
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 04:22 PM by paparush
From a story on April 22, 2008.

Ok, DU moms, how many of you, or women you know, never got big during pregnancy?

Also from the story, her water broke around 4:00 am in Dallas, Texas. She gave a keynote speech at a luncheon, then flew to Seattle, then landed in Anchorage around 10:30 pm, then drove an hour to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Wasilla, where she delivered.

Sorry folks. I just don't buy it.

Its spin, and lies, and denial, and cover up, and manipulation, and mind-control, cut from the same cloth as Bush/Cheney.

Edited for link goodness:

3. I must say that the face/elbows/wrists
Look a whole lot different.

Problem is, most everyone in the US has their weight fluctuate during the course of thier lives.

Perhaps Sarah never lost her "freshman 50" gained during her stint at the U of I until much later in life.

8. It's possible.
Or she may have gained much more weight with her first child than her 5th.

4. I never got big, but it was my first
I had a baby last year (our first) and as I posted a couple days ago, I never got big. I have a picture taken of me the day I gave birth and I only had a small "bump".

That being said, as many others have pointed out, it was my first baby and it is more common to be smaller with your first than after you've had several children. Also, I had complications (placental abruption) that resulted in a small baby and an early delivery (5 weeks early).

5. If I may ask how much did your baby weigh
I'm a little astounded too that Trig was born at 6+lbs being 1 month premature. That too made me wonder why Sarah Palin wasn't showing more.

9. 4 pounds, 12 ounces
She was 4 pounds, 12 ounces at birth. The doctor said had I carried to full term she probably would have still been a "small" baby for full term - maybe around 6 pounds.

6. how tall is she?
From personal observation, it seems taller women have smaller bumps (in general) than us shorter women.
