My Palin Conspracy Theory - But it's not my fault!
With all the speculation that has gone on for months (in Alaska) that now spread virally on the net - that Sarah Palin wasn't Trig's mother but his grandmother - something had to be done to remove all doubts that this was the case.

First all the pictures of Palin during for late 2007 and 2008 on official sites were scrubbed. Why would that be necessary if in fact she was pregnant?

The facts about her return trip from Texas back to Anchorage reported in her own words in the Anchorage Press ...

Her water broke/leaked (medically the same in both cases) at 4am on Thursday morning. She phoned her doctor who didn't advise her to get to a hospital to be checked out and said it was OK for her to continue on her planned schedule and fly home later in the day. What ethical doctor, with a 44 year old patient pregnant with a Down's baby (high risk) would give that advice?

She stayed on and gave her speech at the GOP Governor's Convention. She admitted that she was having labor pains but that they'd slowed down to only a few contractions an hour so she wasn't concerned and said she then thought it wasn't labor pains. But she didn't seek medical attention for an examination to see what was going on.

"I said I am going to stay for the day. I have a speech I was determined to give," Palin said. She gave the luncheon keynote address for the energy conference.

Palin kept in close contact with Baldwin-Johnson. The contractions slowed to one or two an hour, "which is not active labor," the doctor said.
"Things were already settling down when she talked to me," Baldwin-Johnson said. Palin did not ask for a medical OK to fly, the doctor said.

"I don't think it was unreasonable for her to continue to travel back," Baldwin-Johnson said.
So the Palins flew on Alaska Airlines from Dallas to Anchorage, stopping in Seattle and checking with the doctor along the way.

They landed in Anchorage around 10:30 p.m. Thursday and an hour later were at the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Wasilla.
Baldwin-Johnson said she had to induce labor, and the baby didn't come until 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Obviously, according to her account, she was in labor yet the doctor said, without an examination, that she was not in active labor?? When she landed in Anchorage a full 19-1/2 hours after her water broke, did she then seek medical attention at one of the two excellent hospitals in Anchorage? Nope. She then drove another 45 min to an hour to Wasilla.

If this was true it was the most incredible bad judgement supposedly supported by her doctor who should be reviewed for malpractice.

But what if the call at 4am was to let her know that Bristol went into labor? The good doctor would know through examination that Bristol wasn't going to deliver before they returned as planned. There was time for the switcheroo.

However in a small town and state tongues get to wagging. Bristol had been taken out of school for at least 5 months - supposedly with mono. There were reports in the town that she was pregnant and she had been sent to stay with an aunt in Anchorage.

With her catapult to the VP nomination this went national and something had to be done. You sure couldn't have a governor and VP candidate involved in this type of charade. So what to do?

Bristol still had her belly bulge from her pregnancy so why not just say she was pregnant now? That she was going to marry the father. After all families all over the country have either had a pregnant teen in the family or one of their friends did. Then of course we won't talk about it anymore to respect the family's privacy.

Later they could report that she had an unfortunate miscarriage and voila problem solved. By then the election would be over and all be forgotten.

I can't help but believe that this plausible due to all the GOP tactics and lies over the past 8 years.

Palin didn't announce she was pregnant with her 5th child until March 2008 (7 months pregnant)and reports from coworkers and friends were that they were astonished since she just didn't look pregnant.

She may be able to fool men with her account of her return from TX. But any woman who has had more than one child knows that this stinks to high heaven.

1. I completely agree
I was still wearing my husband's jeans four months after our son was born, because I couldn't get into mine. I think Bristol looks post-partum rather than pregnant. What is particularly interesting is that (in my opinion) the big lie was told to avoid the truth of Bristol's pregancy, and now she's saying Bristol is pregnant to avoid having her big lie discovered. Hmmmm. Good parenting?
