BREAKING ON CNN: A Levy is breaking in N.O.
Per Wolf Blitzer currently on CNN

Levee in Plaquenmines Parish, LA is about to give way.. they are asking all residents to evacuate.

Please pray for everyone to get out safely.. this is a horrible situation.

16. Gustav hit land as a strong Cat2
early this morning and has been a heavy rainmaker allday. Just as with Katrina, it's not the initial force of the hurricane itself that causes levees to fail. It is the storm surge, persistent rain and yep, shoddy workmanship.

I heard the ArmyCorps of Engineers were plugging leaks with newspaper prior to the storm, in violation of their own code!

14. I swear they broke it on purpose
So they could stand on teevee and say Republican Governors do a wonderful job, like Rick Perry just did on MSNBC. I hate these people. Just hate them.
