Unfortunately the statements of the McCain/Palin campaign while condemning your good work also failed to answer questions surrounding the circumstances surrounding the birth of poor baby Trig. The questions remain concerning his "mother's" sudden 7th month pregnancy announcement, his "sister's" extended absence from school due to a sickness that usually takes weeks and not months to recover from, and his "mother's" bizarre and reckless conduct upon her supposed beginning of labor. None of these questions has been answered. Instead we have been offered another surprise pregnancy that is supposed to answer our questions by virtue of its just happening to be long enough to preclude what many suspect. Where is the proof of this new pregnancy and how long it has been going on, why was this news not broken 3 months ago when it would not have exposed Palin's daughter to the international attention focused on her now? No. Rather than resolving questions, their statement has added another strange twist in an already strange story.

For this reason, I urge that those among us who are able to investigate this take very close looks at the situation. And of course we should all be sure to keep discussing this with friends, family, and strangers. Only when our questions are definitively answered, should this be allowed to drop.
