What has gone wrong with Blitzer?
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 05:38 PM by Franks Wild Years
He's actually emphasising anti-GOP talking points. Earlier there was the abstinence issue and now he's talking about how potentially serious 'troopergate' could be.

Has he jumped off of the GOP ship?

5. Rat, meet ocean
Tweety, Wolfie, who's next to jump off the sinking ship? I think we're going to start seeing a lot more of this. These talking heads have been toeing the party line for eight years, but when the GOP is gone, they're going to be left looking like a bunch of idiots. Heck, can't support the losing team, right?

Fickle bunch, no?

9. He mentioned the "Trigg is not really Sara's son" rumor.
This is the first I've heard this on MSM. CNN is hilarious right now. It's supposed to be the RNC but it's Palin, Palin, Palin. They were saying the VP debates will be the highlights of the pre-election. Palin is drawing so much attention she can be guaranteed a huge audience on Oct 4. They are also discussing troopergate, trying to use the hurricane to distract. So much concern about the storms!!!! Who else is watching this?

and there's nothing to it. Our Miss Gidget is innocent, I say, innocent!

19. Wolfie is saying bring her here,
I want to put her on! Nancy is trying to get out of it. IT was a mistake for the thugs to not start the convention on time - now there is absolutely nothing else to put on except the storm and wolfie keeps bringing it back to troopergate.

12. I believe some of these talking heads
might actually feel somewhat responsible for the last 8 years total failure of the Executive Branch. I do. They know they were kissing so much ass and were so biased in their reporting. You'd have to be a callous bastard not to see how many people have suffered under this administration and while it's not all their fault - they were complicit.

Our ticket is looking great now. Harder to deny the obvious, now that we had a convention shooting past the RW/MSM filters.

loads of integrity.

Waiting for the exposure of the lie about the Bridge to Nowhere. And wanting to secede from the U.S.

20. Maybe they know that TrooperGate is less of an explosive issue than BabyGate
especially to the fundies. Better to re-direct the topic of discussion from the latter to preserve the support of the base.

for purely political reasons, with no regard what so ever for the safety and well being of our great nation.

29. It's McCain's Cronkite Moment.
You know... "If I've lost Cronkite, I've lost America"?

The love affair is coming to an end between the MSM and McCain. Having read "Free Ride", which was at the time a worrisome little book, it's really astonishing to see how quickly the winds can change.

Everyone, and I mean, EVERYONE realizes at some level this fact: who's more likely to need a VP who's unquestionably ready to step into the job, the hale and hearty 47-year-old or the 72-year-old cancer survivor? The Grim Reaper's already laid a glove on him, you know...

Also, Franks, GREAT handle. :)
