3. The panel is pushing back on her. Of course, all it took was calling
them the liberal media and they let her have her say.

Spokeswoman won't say when the media will be allowed to talk to her.

9. they were very gentle with her, I thought. she did most of the filibustering/talking
she's very HOT, though

and five kids, to boot!

also an OIL COMPANY lobbyist. surprised?

her name is on an OBama commercial, which lists 20+ oil lobbyists working for McCain

Candy Crowley on now, saying that her sources tell her that Palin is doing WONDERS for the pugs, and they're ENERGIZED by her choice!!!

oh, Candy, thou doest reveal thyself well and truly with that one

just wait, Candy.

15. Nancy Pfotenhauer, McCain’s Dirty Energy Spokeswoman
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 05:50 PM by Gabi Hayes
On “Fox and Friends” yesterday, Nancy Mitchell Pfotenhauer — a top policy adviser for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) — derided those who say that lifting the offshore drilling moratorium won’t affect gas prices, saying it “reveals ignorance on the futures markets.”

That position puts her at odds with the federal Energy Information Administration, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA), McCain economic adviser Douglas Holtz-Eakin, and even McCain himself. Why would Pfotenhauer go so far off message?

Perhaps it’s because the only ones who would benefit from lifting the moratorium are energy companies like Koch Industries (pronounced “coke”), the largest private company in the United States, the secretive backer of the right-wing message machine, and Pfotenhauer’s longtime boss.

http://thinkprogress.org/wonkroom/2008/06/28/dirty-nancy-pfotenhauer/

she's clearly been upgraded, cause I've seen her a bunch of times, very effectively propagandizing on cable, and usually winning the encounters. she murdered lizardboy the other night on CNN, leaving him stammering and stewing on the split screen. very embarrassing

she's very 'good' at what she does, and supremely dishonest

I can't WAIT for somebody who knows what they're talking about to get under her skin, cause she's that smirking ice-queen type, unflappable, imperious

she really needs to have somebody who doesn't fall for her BS to take her on. three CNN 'reporters' were steamrolled by her, allowing her to filibuster their questions, and NEVER following up, even when she called Palin a HERO!

Hero????????

not one peep in response to that most ludicrous assertion

19. They didnt punch her in the face, no, but they kept saying
when are you going to get Palin on here so we can talk to HER,
which is even better.
As long as theyre talking about Palin's many accumulating
problems, it's good,
and when she DOES finaly face the questions in
person, she will crash & burn--unless they give her the hook first.
In any case, the OP's headline is dead wrong, cuz nobody from CNN
said she's a hero.

23. agreed, but they did NOT follow up with her at all. they almost never do.
they let her filibuster away, going off on tangents that had nothing to do with the questions

afa the OP, the body of it states that spokesperson said it, fwiw

did you hear Candy C right afterward? she said the word on the floor is a big thumb's up on Palin!

har de har......great investigative skills, candy. did you ask them ONE question about her background? anything that would give them pause, or are you just their cheerleading steno gal, as you were for Bush in 00 and 04. what was his nickname for you, Candy?

Dolce Vita, or something like that?

wonder what McCain calls you.....

To me, they were just shining the McCain woman on & zeroing in on
when they were going to get ahold of Palin herself.

6. For what? Misusing her office to punish a public official? Ignoring the impending
birth of her own baby, and then shuttling him off to a sitter three days later to go back to work? Trotting her preggo teenage daughter out into the national spotlight? She sounds like a wackjob, to me.

17. I thought they were very meek in their reactions....no followup to one or
two pointed questions, presented without any attitude I could discern

they seemed almost afraid to ask their questions, and let her filibuster away.

you note they left the hero quote alone, instead of gagging, the way they should have

the very idea of her being called a hero is nauseating/ludicrous on its face, yet they sat there like dipwads, swallowing the swill without reaction
