17 days
It was 17 days from the time Eagleton accepted the VP nomination until he resigned.

Anyone wanna guess if this is shorter than Eagleton?

4. As Long As She Accepts The Nomination on Wednesday
I don't care.

After she accepts the nomination, the damage is completely done.

If she drops out before Wednesday, they might be able to staunch the bleeding.

At this rate, the far religious right will be disheartened on election day and Obama will win in one of the biggest landslides a Democrat ever won by.

7. Considering it's 2 nights from now
and there has to be a big acceptance speech I doubt that will happen.

11. No, this ticket is toast no matter when she quits
And keep in mind it's possible they take this to the bitter end, that she never quits.

In fact that might be, from their point of view, the "best" of a bunch of very bad options.
