Although I have been a loyal Democrat and liberal for years, I am energized and inspired by the announcement that you have been named John McCain's running mate. Every day that you remain in this campaign is a day that America is a step closer to real change in this country. We need to be reminded daily of your family values, your ethics, your management style and your experience - from now until November. I guarantee it will be a great help to the United States. Please take this thread and the recommendations from fellow Democrats as a sign that by staying in this race you are doing an invaluable act of patriotism for all of us today... and tomorrow.
