Amy Goodman, has, for a long time, put out alternative journalism, that is heard ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
This is CLEARLY, the right-wing's ploy to silence the ONE person who is TRULY on the LEFT.

I hope that they get her out soon, so that she can report her story.

She's been on CNN, MSNBC and FoxNews many, many times.

She tried to ask the police their side of the story and was immediately arrested.

16. I think what this demonstrates most is how ignorant the right is about

left information networks. I doubt those cops knew Amy is the left equivalent of . I remember when Goodman came to speak at my grad school in 2004. The local PBS station covered her speech, but when a bunch of us approached them and said we'd like to see her show as part of their news line-up, they said she was too much of a fringe journalist, her show would never fly in Denver. Four years later her show is on at 6 pm every weeknight. Her show's podcasts are among the most subscribed to on the net. She's only on public access channels in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, so I really think they didn't have any idea they were arresting an internationally known and respected journalist--who ironically made her name documenting human rights abuses in East Timor. This will have serious repercussions for the St. Paul police, demonstrating to the world that they are much more of a danger than the people they are arresting.
