What's crazy is the amount of TIME McCain had and took to select a V.P.

I mean seriously, I'm relateively young , but when was the last time, since a naton wide delegate system has been in use, that a candidate had THIS amount of time to decide on on a V.P.. from when he'd mathematically clinched the requisite number of delegates? Add to that the mounting evidence of incomplete vetting after that amount of time?? WTF was he doing for seven months?!

3. I think he was assuming Holy Joe would be his VP and

he wasn't focused on anyone else. Then when Rove told him that was a no go, he panicked. Palin is a terrible choice, obviously chosen in haste and without proper vetting. Turns out she's got shitload of baggage. Good.
