And remember kiddies...when Palin drops out for "personal reasons".
...the theme should be:

a) the ruthless use of this woman without regard for her family to get Obama off the front page from his speech.

b) the poor judgment of McCain to pick someone who couldn't pass the "smell test" and setting her up for public ridicule.

I'm not seeing a downside.

1. I can't imagine her dropping out, just because it would doom McCain. I think they have to roll w/ it

4. I could be wrong, but Palin just won the Miss Anchor chained to your ankle 2008 pageant.
If he decides not to jettison her, then we get to continue to feeding frenzy.

8. Well then they won't roll with her,
they'll sink with her.

Either way, I'm happy.

3. He treats the VP selection process as a beauty pageant. Show's how much respect
he has for the office of the POTUS.

5. as somebody said, Strong and wrong will win the day
depending on how the media spin it, this could be the campaign killer we've been hoping for

lord knows there are myriad others, but they've all been ignored or downplayed

all one has to do is type in Mccain at youtube, and you'll find THOUSANDS of videos with his own old, tired face, proving himself to be a liar, debating himself, getting angry, challenging people to take $50 an hour jobs, etc.

7. She has to shoulder some responsibility, too. She had to know
this story (these stories?) would surface, yet she accepted anyway.
