This is bullshit.

All these big stories break and Keith is banished to Gustav-ville

This sucks. I'm actually having to watch CNN.

4. I think MSNBC has been threatened with "access". I also think that's
why Keith was pulled to cover the storm. They are a very vindictive bunch.

5. The Palin attack might seem insensitive during a hurricane.

6. As usual, they overdid it.
They were still 100% coverage after the storm had come on land and it was evident that it wasn't as bad as they had hoped.

9. Oh, right....
Just because it didn't hit NOLA it's no big deal.

Tell that to the approximately 750,000 people in Louisiana that don't have power tonight, and aren't likely to get it back for weeks.

7. There was one brief blip where Olbermann talked to Tweety
with Tweety at the Convention and Olbermann in NY doing hurricane coverage. It was very obvious that the two of them were muzzled and were not allowed to talk about the big political news story of the day nor were they allowed to mention Palin's name. The only thing they could discuss was how the convention (Tweety's beat) was being impacted by the hurricane (Olbermann's beat) and how the repukes and Shrub were dealing with that.

This was unfrickin' believable. You could almost tell that the two of them had obviously talked offline about this nonsense but "did what they were told".

So damn sad.

12. Honestly?
Because the RNC convention looked like it was going to be a wash, and maybe he took the day off. :)
