Telling friends and family: The Presidency is a "Job", not an "Award".

I've had some family try to tell me we owed McCain the presidency because of his POW status. I've had to explain that it doesn't work that way.

And I don't mean that the presidency is "just a job", but that it is a job with real responsibilities assigned to it by the Constitution.
