September 10th is peak season for hurricanes. It will die down after that, but we will probably see these 3, Hannah, Ike, and J? before it's all said and done.

"Ike" Eisenhower, is considered by many as the last "good" Republican President. Will Hurricane Ike remind some republicans of how far the Republican party has been influenced by the Christian right?

5. After Hanna...

comes Ike and then a J name, which I forget. I live just outside Charleston, SC and the hospital I work for is starting with weather alerts, a review of their emergency plan and assignment of teams.

Ike supposedly is on the same track as Hanna and I don't know about the other one. I've never been through a hurricane and am not looking forward to it. It's sort of scary. We started loading up on bottled water so maybe it won't come here. :scared:

When he and Tweety were on together (Tweety at the convention and Olbermann in NYC doing hurricane coverage), they were not allowed to say the name "Palin" and could only report on how the hurricane was affecting the schedule for the convention. :eyes:
