3. I'm beginning to thing you're right...
I've posted several times that I think she'll drop out tomorrow. But now this news that she was "personally" vetted by Dobson and the right-wing moonbats makes me wonder. It would appear that McCain is allowing them to take the wheel in this campaign. But why? He doesn't even LIKE these people.

Something is going on. I don't know what. But the next 48 hours are going to be really interesting.

10. For me it goes like this...
McSame wants the office...come hell or high water. Pugnacious as hell, he didn;t quit and won't quit. But its not for the opportunity to serve, its because he's got a personal bone to pick with himself, probably his past and certainly with his party. Other than the title, McSame doens't really give a damn about this office and his role. Oh sure, he talks like he does but in reality its all a bunch of bull.

So selling a VP office to the Jesusheads is a no brainer.

The problem is, he has overreached--as usual.

6. I seem to remember another young virgin who decided to keep her baby
and he went on to become the saviour.

Can God's Own Party really let themselves act like those who had no room at the inn the pregnant girl?

4. Because they don't admit mistakes. Ever.

That's how they play. The phrase "give them enough rope" seems appropriate.

15. BINGO ...
1) McCain now has to feel that he will have been "forced" to drop her, and the same retarded ego that led to him picking her won't allow him to drop her.

2) The Fundies will completely and totally revolt, unless he brings on Dobson himself.

You are right, these people operate on a bizarre level we can't get. They will not admit a mistake, but just spin around 1000 different ways to blame or turn this around on BO and the Dems. It is who they are, what they do.

5. She's less than 2 years from winning a 3-way primary then easily defeating a former 2-term governor
Posters here apparently think their little Google research trumps everything. It's remarkable nonsense.

7. One way I can see her backing out is:
Her daughter has a problem with pregnancy.
Sarah races to her side.
Sarah backs out citing family matters.
The repugs blame the dems for the stress her daughter was under.
Pugs switch to new canidate.
Pugs hammer the Dems for being mean.

Likely? Maybe.
I think they they went for an angle and it got away from them. Now they are regretting it.

11. The fundies are gonna be pissed
whether they get their money back or not, if Palin is dumped. And if mcCain keeps her, the PTB are pissed at having such a sure loser. Either way, McCain is fucked.

14. They can't--they just can't.
The comparisons to McGovern '72 would inevitably be made and McCain's campaign would be sunk. Barring a massive gaffe from Obama (or a live boy/dead girl situation), he'd lose in as big a landslide as McGovern did.
