As seen on CNN a minute ago... Kyra Phillips reported it on Larry King. Talk about a big ass grenade in the McCain camp. Even minutes about the news was out, Freep excusniks like Susan Molinari are already adding the "if McCain properly vetted..."

CNN reported earlier tonight, that McCain had the troopergate situation investigated, and
that he was positively convinced that she did nothing wrong.

This could be an attempt by the Republicans to fabricate a bunch of fake information about
her involvement, in order to stem the tide of horrid news about Palin.

I hope this is news and information coming from a legitimate investigation--and not a information that
has been packaged by the Republicans as a public relations gimmick.

Perhaps the McCain posse is up there to try to drag stuff away or fight it legally... from what was stated, it does not look good for Palin in any way. And to hear the tape of phone calls and see the emails where she was stepping WAY OUT of her governor role is going to be priceless in time for the RNC convention.

I'm not sure what day she is supposed to be confirmed and when she accepts the nomination, but it will be worse for McCain if he has a "Thomas Eagleton" on his hands.
