I can't see someone like Pawlenty stepping in to save McCain's pasty old butt now, can you?

Who would he turn to? The fundy nuts would FREAK if he put someone in there like Joementum.

I think he's royally screwed, no matter what he does.

8. haha
In addition to Romney and Pawlenty being pissed, weren't there even reports that the Huckster was mad as well, because he was not vetted at ALL. And those poor people who had to humiliate themselves at McCain's fake "VP audition BBQ".

"I was mayor and I look good in a dress". I'm sure Smithers Lieberman is still available but there was a reason why that was quashed to begin with.

I swear this is getting to be almost hyponotic. It's like every time you his "refresh", another turd has hit the fan!:evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin::rofl::evilgrin:

9. Somebody would always jump on board
But at this point anybody legit would have to turn it down. Pawlenty and Mitt were strung along, if they have any ounce of self-respect they'd be too pissed to take it. Lieberman is just goofy enough to take it.

He can't get rid of her. It would make him look weaker than he would if he kept her. It would have to get much worse than it has so far anyway. I think if anything, the secessionist party would do it. Republicans harp so much on patriotism that that could be a killer.

They've had one veep pick blow up in their face. I'm sure they wouldn't take the chance on picking a closet case.
