Women's Rights, Core Values, Baby Borrowers and Teenage Pregnancy
I want to say I'm not directing this at the Palin situation however since I do feel the kids are off limits. However I want to talk about teen pregnancy and how it relates somewhat and how it's slightly affecting this election.

I think this is resulting in the Repubs really looking at their party and taking into account the actions of their kids and how this affects them. Similarly how this affects their values and those values mocked and ridiculed by the younger generation who have their own views and ideas which don't coincide with their archaic system.

Not to mention it puts forth how illogical the core values of the base on women's rights is actually hurting their party. It awakens the sedated dragon of birth control and abortion. This is not to say that Bristol doesn't want her child. However, it does show that the debate of contraception needs to be promoted more so than this idea of "abstinance" which is not going to happen or followed by experimental teenagers or adults.

Society hasn't changed that much since these things have always been an issue. However, fear of getting pregnant by airbourne sperm won't work on the generation today to think that "abstinance" pacts is the way to go. What we come to see is that kids either get married very young, which works against them. Or they end up having pre-marital relationships anyway. I say the adults should save themselves the trouble and help the kids out---give a condom, get the girls on the pill, and pray to all that is holy you won't be a grandmother at 35. :D

Now I was in love with the show Baby Borrowers. I'll get into why a little later.

I went to all girls Catholic school and the amount of pregnant girls in my Freshmen class and the preceding and later classes was phenomenal. My school actually had a separate area for them. Actually another All Girls Catholic High School had a separate School created just for the amount of pregnant girls coming in.

I think in my Freshman class of 60, 4 or 5 were pregnant. By graduating add another 5-10. I don't even want to start with the Freshman class in my final year, that was atrocious. Now I come from a culture and the majority of the people in my high school come from a culture where religion has Dominion. Caribbean/South American Catholics are nearly zealots in their way of thinking and it's sheltered to the point of suffocation.

Yes, I sat through my fair share of abortion videos and teen pregnancy videos. Once a month we had a whole school meeting where all the classes had to sit through hours of late term abortions and the horrors of teenage pregnancy. You came out with two types of people, sexually promiscuos or sexually repressed, and the all together sexually fucked up. :D

So far the only thing I find effective or I think that would be effective in countering teenage pregnancy since it's such an issue is have all high schools create a Baby Borrowers system. No kid in their right mind will want to have a kid or want any kind by the end of it. Teenagers will get their tubes tied or abstinance will be practiced in large numbers or extra extra precautions will take place. I felt baby borrowers put the kids through such nightmare that no one would want it. I had nightmares like that as a teenager that kept me away, added to lack of access due to All Girls High School. However, for those without the funds for all girls/boys Catholic H.S. or have one close by.

Baby Borrowers is the next best thing.

My addition to this baby crap.
