I shut down right wingers with this question re: Palin

I was having a lively debate with 3 of my right wing co-workers tonight and I completely shut them down with this question:

If the ticket was reversed and it was Sarah Palin for President and John McCain for Vice President, would you vote for that ticket? Would you vote for Sarah Palin as president?

I got a lot of stammering and then they tried to turn it back to me and asked if I would vote for my ticket if it was reversed. I said hell yeah! Either way I am happy with my options.

They were dumbfounded by that simple question (more dumbfounded than usual, I should say).

On the forum I administer (link below, my signature) the conservative wing (small) seems to be trying to like Palin. But I can tell they hate what McCain has shoved on the Republican Party.
