I found it interesting. I havent finished it yet, getting tired, but it was definitely interesting. The article linked on the page says that it gets contentious a but further in than I went

5. Perhaps It Will Play Better In The Morning
Maybe you should repost it then. I will sadly be at work - ugh! Then again, considering the current state of affairs I guess I should be thankful that I have a job.

8. Very familiar
I watched this debate in 2006 on CSPAN. Alaska debates are always interesting, with the candidates sitting down and short time frames for response.

Maybe someone can find the video of the Republican primary debate. In some ways that was more contentious, the incumbent Murkowski trying to salvage his job in the face of terrible approval ratings and a big poll deficit to Palin. That was also a 3-way debate, and telecast on CSPAN.

Palin is going to be effective in debate setting. I've already posted many times regarding her style that I remembered from those debates. She doesn't try to trump on issue specifics but uses a relaxed manner, talking to the audience instead of confronting the other candidate(s), with big picture themes and plenty of smiling. I've hosted enough debate parties to know that stuff works with apolitical types.

9. After watching...
I'd have to agree. She's good - quite effective articulating her views. Will be difficult for her to master all the issues in such a short time, however.

14. The VP debate moderator is Gwen Ifill. Which may or may not help her
I'm curious to see what questions they get.

Good point about her having to cram a lot of info quickly. Doesn't matter how good you may be at debate, its a LOT of ground to cover.

She seems very well prepared to talk about her key issues, and doesnt do a bad job deflecting.

10. She May Have Sounded Fairly Good In That Setting
even if what she said was ridiculous but there is no way she can pull it out against Biden. No way, no how, no Mrs. MooseKiller.

11. Link to Palin's performance in the 2006 Republican primary debate
I Googled and found the debate I mentioned in an earlier post. It's some type of Palin website, Palintology. You get what you can take when searching for something like this.

Notice a very early question asks the other two candidates if Palin is qualified to be governor. Palin is on the defensive as the big frontrunner in the polls. The 3rd candidate flatly says no, Palin is not qualified, saying she would be better served as Lt. Governor or in the legislature, to get more "maturity", among other things.

Palin responds by bragging about her success as mayor of Wasilla.

You have to click on the individual videos to play:
