The story on her daughter's pregnancy might be one thing |
|
and the investigation into her conduct as governor might be quite another.
Palin may have told someone vetting her about the pregnancy. But possibly she minimized the rest of the file regarding her questionable doings as governor. She may decide at some point real soon that having a swarm of attorneys rooting through her political life makes the kitchen too hot.

1. It's been national news since July... |
|
that she was going to be investigated for abuse of power.
She probably didn't hide anything. The repukes found someone sufficiently scummy.

2. Well, just about any Republicans is pretty |
|
scummy, but with McCain wanting to win the election, it does seem that the vetting process (or Palin's revelation quotient) was a bit off.
It certainly lacks a presidential caliber level of attention.

Here we have a woman who presumably, in the last 4 or 5 months, has had to sit down and lecture her pregnant daughter about parental responsibility. Now suddenly she is going to hand that same daughter her own 4 month old downs syndrome baby and say, "Here take care of your brother while I go campaigning."
:wow: That's family values and parental responsibility Republican style.
