Just heard a new commercial on the radio this morning (oldies station) from Obama's campaign on the choice issue and how McCain is anti-abortion. The ad included a clip from McCain himself where he says he supports a constitutional amendment to ban abortions. It was a pretty hard-hitting commercial too... Been trying to find an audio of it and don't see it out there on YouTube as a TV ad yet (although alot of these are both).

:woohoo:

This needs to be out there, especially in light of the Palin pick!

1. Excellent!
We have McCain's own words to beat him with on this, and we need to hammer it home. There is no doubt in my mind that he will do all he can to overturn Roe v Wade. And that's just one of numerous women's health issues that will be affected by this smeghead.

9. As an update, they have literally been playing this ad every hour on the hour
since I first posted this message. :applause:

At the end of the ad it says:

"We can't allow John McCain to take away our right to choose. We can't let him take us back."

As an FYI, Philly is the 4th largest media market.

7. Does McCain ever vote FOR anything?
Other than war, I mean.

I mean, he voted against expanding veteran's benefits, against aid for Katrina victims, against MLK day...

The polls have to be off. I refuse to believe that the people are dumb enough to like this guy.

6. In addition to what it does to the right of
women to choose, to strike down Roe v. Wade also strikes a blow against the right to privacy. The fundies want to get rid of the right to choose. The Reich wing wants to destroy the right to privacy.
