Chuck Todd: The republicans are "scrubbing speeches" about Obama
They're backtracking and going back through all the hit pieces they were planning on spewing about Obama and his lack of experience. Palin has taken their best attack lines off their table.

1. god they're stupid. I really think their electoral successes
over the past 20 years or so, had more to do with where the political pendulum was than even their nasty illegal ways.

3. Did Obama ever advocate the secession of Illinois?
That would make a great talking point! Maybe he provided the opening speech for the 2008 convention of an "Illinois first" secessionist group like Palin did for the AIP. That would level the field.

bringing some of these criminals to justice for their crimes.

I am willing to let Dems clean up Republican messes just for those two things alone, quite apart from the other benefits of a Democratic administration.

24. I know exactly who I'd put on the SC if I were Obama.
Hillary.

She'd take it, I think. And she'd be damn good at it.

5. McBluster's latest talking points are hilarious
that the Mayor of Frostbite Falls has more experience than Biden and Obama combined.

Apparently it's all experience with not telling the truth.

16. Since they're aiming at "executive experience" perhaps they should include McCain as well.
Hell, since Sarah has more "experience" than McCain perhaps he should demote himself to VP and let the election be between Obama and Palin.

Executive experience was Bush's selling point as well and we saw how well that turned out.

25. "Executive experience was Bush's selling point as well and we saw how well that turned out."
That's the best answer and one we should all immediately start using.

8. I think the Republicans are in full-on panic
Nevermind the happytalk spokespeople pushing the bullshit Palin bio.

The party itself is freaking the fuck out. They might bite their lips and
put on a good face for the convention... but make no mistake, there is
turmoil in the back rooms.

Not just his opinion. He said he knows they're doing it.
