Tell you the truth, I'm fascinated in knowing what Gov. Palin's viewpoints are on...
- Fiscal and Monetary policy, specifically how she would reduce the budget deficit

- Inflation and the falling value of US currency

- The unbalanced trade arrangements and deficits

- Spending on infrastructure

- Reducing the nation's dependence on imported energy

- The nation's dependence on undocumented labor

- Environmental policy

- Strengthening our multinational alliances

- National disaster recovery

- The housing crunch

- Imported food safety

- Raising CAFE standards

- Stemming nuclear proliferation

- Rising health care costs and uninsured citizens

- Defense

But most of all, I'd like to know how her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism, her two terms on the Wasilla City Council, two terms as mayor, and last 18 months as Governor of a small state has prepared her with dealing with these issues.

Frankly, I'm fascinated to know if she's even capable of forming a coherent sentence or cogent thought about any of that stuff.

She's got a lot of boning up on Wikipedia ahead of her.

1. I am recommending this, you know. All the side show and 3 ring circus stuff
is focusing a ton of unwelcome attention in places the R's do not want the sun to shine.

Following this with the questions you list would just drive the bolt home, so to speak.

2. Her reaction to complex policy issues during the debate ought to be a hoot
If she's interviewed, any journalist worth his or her salt would go straight to the meat of this matter

4. agreed, and IIRC the V-P debate is being handled by PBS. Very good since
their questioners will be better.

I do long to see Joe Biden cut her off at the ankles so neatly she won't even realize she is bleeding. All the while smiling that cute ole Irish grin of his.

Our campaign is putting up a very dignified impression on this, Obama's statement regarding the daughter was spot on and made quickly. I am positive the high road will be maintained. Obama's high road is very different from the high roads of our past campaigns, and this non issue scandal sets him up perfectly to stay on message and remain above the fray on it. But don't be in the room when he and Joe get on the real meat, the good stuff, the things on your list.

However..........
But wouldn't you have loved to been a fly on the wall in the campaign when THEY found out she was the choice? I wish I had been there.

You know Joe Biden is a Scorpio too, right?   :hi: :hi: :hi:

media. If Palin survives the week I have a feeling her answers to these questions will further serve to hang McCain. In any case the Obama/Biden camp should be prepared to hammer her especially in the debates.
