oh, jeebus please let McCain withdraw Palin |

it would be enjoyable in so many ways.
The "movement conservatives" would be so PISSED. They've been calling her the next Margaret Thatcher and the next Ronald Reagan. Imagine their heads exploding if McCain chose the pro-choice Lieberman.
RW radio freaks are talking about how EXCITED they were when they heard about the nomination. They had a profound experience of sudden high morale at the news. Imagine the letdown if McCain has to fall back on Pawlenty.
They've been talking about how BOLD McCain is. The maverick is saying fuck you to conventional wisdom! Imagine their explaining his dropping her in favor of Mittens.
The spinners have been working overtime explaining how the Bristol situation is absolutely irrelevant. Not any kind of issue whatsoever and whoever suggests it matters is a scoundrel! Imagine their explaining why, then, McCain dropped his wonderful nominee.
Oh, please let it happen.

If McCain should force Palin from the ticket, may it not happen too soon.
I'd like to see a few more skeletons exit Sarah Palin's closet and take their promenade down the media runway for all to see. I'd like to see more Religious Right fanatics get their hopes lifted up, and then watch each successive revelation about Palin brown off the rest of the electorate.
I hope McCain doesn't part with Palin too soon. The best imbroglios take time.
