Giuliani taken off the list of tonight's Republican National Convention speakers. Does it mean he is going to be pushed forward as VP nominee after Palin withdraws, and give acceptance speech Wednesday?

Darn! I was going to watch and down a shot everytime Giuliani mentioned 9-11. Maybe it's just as well, I wouldn't want to end up with alcohol poisoning.

6. If they're trying to find someone with better family values...???
Please. ;)

Giuliani is no better, and is, in a way, worse than Palin.

7. Guliani? The guy with a noun, a verb, and 911?
His assed would be thoroughly kicked in the VP debate.

8. Why doesn't McCain just cede the election to us?
The badly bungled VP vetting and the Republican National Convention mess is like a message to Barack Obama; "Please take the job! I don't want it"!

10. If that is the case, and he doesn't speak later, then it means the repuke convention
will be entirely controlled by the extreme right wing of that party

19. No.
More like he looked at that train wreck of a convention and decided he didn't want to get any of the stank on him.

So I wouldn't be surprised.

21. He Was The Keynote Speaker For The Convention
It is unusual to scrub the keynote speaker but seeing that their convention is
an organizational disaster with McCain as the party leader, I think they are just
shooting from the hip and rolling the dice to see what works. Which now they think
is George Bush, if that tells you anything.

26. I imagine the reason for his withdrawal
is that he has totally exhausted the verb noun combinations that sucessfully go with 9-1-1!!!
