Palin's acceptance speech may be postponed to Thursday
"Palin, who is scheduled for Wednesday, may get pushed back to Thursday."

according to Mark Halperin.

Or maybe it won't happen at all. They are really in a tight spot.

2. Their convention sounds like a big clusterfuck.
Kind of like Palin herself.

4. Gee - why am I not surprised? Last night they said she wouldn't be taking interviews today...
because she'd be practicin' her speech all day long.

6. I think that's more likely. It's extremely unusual for the veep
nominee to speak the same night as the nominee makes his acceptance speech. And if they have to increase her preparation time just for this speech, what the hell do they think they're gonna have to do when she's actually on the campaign trail day after day? She's never, ever, ever had to deal with this kind of campaign before and has no idea just what a national campaign truly involves and what she's really in for. And can you imagine her dealing with emergencies if, God in heaven forbid, she's actually prez? "What's that? Putin just set off a nuclear bomb in Georgia? Well, it's just gonna have to wait while I call my handlers and figure out what to prepare for a speech." God help us.

7. Probably to hide her behind Hurricane Hannah
Landfall is predicted for Thursday. No doubt they're hoping Palin will get knocked off the TV screen.

So, any bets on whether she's writing the speech herself?
