Theory: The NeoCons Foisted Palin On McCain So It's No Wonder His Campaign Didn't Vet Her.......
Suppose that she was picked by and vetted by the Neocons and McCain had to take her on. I've heard rumors that he would have picked someone else - Lieberman or Ridge. So then it makes sense that McCain's campaign didn't vet Palin.

Now the question is why would the Neocons do this?

1. Didn't think McCain and his pick would appeal to the far right of the party?
2. Set McCain up with Palin - knowing full well she wouldn't stand the scrutiny and would drop out - so they could have their real pick? And who might that be?
3. They are throwing the election - because they know that the next President is going to have a hell of a time picking up the pieces after *CO? The next President(Obama) is being set up to fail miserably - so they could come back stronger than ever in 4 years?
4. Other reasons?

Couple of other questions:
1. Is Bristol 16 or 17?
2. What about the 13hr trip by Palin from Texas to Alaska after her water broke? Knowing full well that she was going to have a DS baby - did she purposely put the baby in harms way?
3. I heard that Palin's name was mentioned quite a few months ago as a VP possibility by Bill Kristol on some TV news show. If that is true - why was the media so unprepared for her?
4. Was the MSM just acting that they didn't know McCain's VP choice and they were still guessing close to 1hr before she was announced?

3. IMO............this is a win-win for the neocons...............if she wins, the administration is
in their pocket..........if the repubs lose, Romney is unscathed for 2012.
