Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? - John McCain
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 09:29 AM by Mortos
On his TV show, early in the Clinton administration, Limbaugh put up a picture of Socks, the White House cat, and asked, "Did you know there's a White House dog?" Then he put up a picture of Chelsea Clinton, who was 13 years old at the time and as far as I know had never done any harm to anyone.

-Molly Ivans on Rush Limbaugh

Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno.”

– Sen. John McCain, speaking to a Republican dinner, June 1998

Amy Carter was the butt of hundreds of jokes about her appearance from right wingers during her early teens.

Al Gore's son was arrested for drugs and became instant verification to the right wingers that liberals spawn drug abusing children.

David Walters, the governor of Oklahoma in 1992, son was hounded by the local right wing media over a false marijuana charge until he killed himself.

Because then the guns turned to my son Shaun, and his mother and I watched helplessly as the media dogged him. Forty-seven T.V. stories in one week, even though he didn’t use drugs and cooperated fully. A single seed nurtured for weeks by the authorities tested negative, but he was still made to endure a humiliating two hour lie detector test only later to read in the newspaper the assistant DA say that yes, he had been treated more severely because of who he was.

Marcy Gardenhire, from Oklahoma City, in a letter to the editor recently said, “The bullet of vengeance veered off course and lodged fatally in the heart of a young man who could not bear the pain.” Ad so, 39 days ago we lost him. He’s buried now in a
cemetery on Northwest Highway.

Governor David Walters 1992

Sarah Palin dragged her daughter into the spotlight knowing she would face harsh scrutiny. It is, in my opinion, tantamount to child abuse and suggests that Sarah Palin is more interested in her political career than the mental well being of her children. She could have turned down the request and lived in the blanket of anonymity provided by being the governor of the 47th least populated state, hunting moose and riding snowmobiles to her heart's content.

Right wingers have nothing to stand on when they decry the exposure of political children except their own hypocrisy cobbled together with double standards.

This should hurt McCain, it is a relevant issue on his judgement and Palin's failed ideas about abstinence education.

I wish no ill will on any of the Palin children, but if their mother has lied about this issue, withheld the information from her running mate or misled her constituents (I still think there is more to this story) she has failed the integrity test and so has the republican party that defends her.

2. Every McCain apologist who talks to me about "liberals" dragging
Palin's daughter into politics will get reminded of his disgusting comment about Chelsea Clinton. Every one, every time.

6. Odd that Joe and Pat didn't mention the attacks
on Chelsea this morning as they were foaming with rage over the left's discussion of the Palin teenage pregnancy.
Only Olberman has had the guts to bring up the Chelsea attacks while on air. Many have had the perfect opportunity...and let it slip by. Like Alan Colmes on Faux last night.
Only Olberman has the fortitude to remind Americans of the type of man McCain is. The type of man who made a vile comment about an innocent teenaged girl. Let the evangelicals McCain is toadying to attempt to cover for him on that comment. So, James Dobson, is ridiculing a teenaged girl's looks part of your family friendly agenda? Please explain.
