11. Didn't Karl Rove get his start by breaking into his own office?
How do we know that is wasn't the Republicans who started spreading the rumors that the Democrats are spreading the rumors?

25. No comment was made
Someone needs to ask if McCain is required to get Hannity to stop speaking of Ayers and stop giving full hours to the already discredited Corsi. The media did not call on Bush to get his own contention delegates to throw away the purple heart bandaids.

Both Hannity and the delegates are more likely to do as a nominee asks than everyone out in the blogosphere.

20. So, Obama is suppose to be able to control the left blogs, when Bush couldn't control
the delegates to the 2004 convention. Those purple heart bandaids and whet they implied was worse than anything said on the liberal blogs about Palin. Also, maybe McCain has to get his right blogospere and their leaders Hannity and Limbaugh to stop lying about Obama. The Ayers thing alone is worse than anything said on the left.

1) Bristol is pregnant - which is true and I saw nothing condemning her for it - just the obvious conclusion that abstinence education didn't work.
2) Conspiracy stuff that questioned who the mother of SP's baby was - still not as bad as the anti-Kerry stuff.

21. Dumbasses. If they'd actually vetted her, they'd know it came from ALASKA..
we didn't start that shit, it came from the people of Alaska who were happy to share their dirt on the family, and the rumors that have been swirling around there for months before this happened. How many posts and comments have we read from people in her town that said "oh, that? we've been saying that all along" The liberal bloggers didn't just dream up this shit... Caribou Barbie came complete with her own scandals. It's the republicans fault for taking her off the shelf and putting her in the cart.

22. "intertubes". BWAHAHAHAHA!
I think the repukes think Obama truly is "the Messiah". They seem to think he has that much control over us than humanly possible... like, he's using mind control or something.

They are INSANE!!!

The press was going to report about baby-gate, regardless. Freepers pushed Edward's affair story HARD!! They were screaming with their hair on fire over it. Bristol's pregnancy and Sarah Palin's pregnancy have been talked about in Alaska for months now. There's no way the press was going to ignore that obvious baby bump.. well, Fox would have ignored it, but any other news station with any credibility at all would have asked some questions. DU was far from breaking this story or pushing it. We mearly talked about what seemed to be obvious to anyone with two working eyeballs.

23. Just shows how powerful Obama's statement to "back off" was.
It makes Obama look above the fray and presidential and the GOP is doing whatever they can to dent that image.

If we had a real media they would point out that even if he could stop his own supporters from talking about it, it would be very easy for McCain to plant posters in liberal blogs and then claim that Obama isn't trying to stop them.

The media needs to do a disclaimer every time they do a blog story to say "to be fair, most posters are anonymous and they could be supporters of rival campaigns trying to start something."

30. I guess "Lord Obama" should've put his "celebrity" status to good use
and singlehandedly ordered the internets shut down so that nobody could talk about or possibly question and/or malign Palin (because we know how censored the GOPMSM already is)?

Maybe Al Gore could've helped him with it too since, after all, he "invented" the internets, right?

Oh, wait a minute, according to McSame/GOP, Obama is just a nobody with a "speech". How could HE have single-handedly prevented millions of people with internet access from talking about, well......anything?

:sarcasm:
