"Palin Goes to War With Investigation" LINK... (Sign She Is Gone??)
The night before Nixon announced his resignation he stated he would fight to the end rather than give up. OF course the next day he resigned...

This sounds eerily familiar coming from the Palin camp...

And it is like stopping to listen for the crickets as far as the MSM covering this in Alaska is concerned. What is not being said at this point is more important than what is being said.

And where are the elected Repub Officials stepping up to give her their unqualified support?

I think the signs are there that if she is not already gone... many are expecting her to be, and they don't want to be standing out there in the public spotlight holding their Palin for VP sign.

1. I think it would be great if she were to drop out
but I don't understand why she would. The dirt on her: inexperience, pregnant daughter, Troopergate etc were already there before her pick. So enlighten me.

3. I think it's possible.
she hired some local yokel lawyer, not even a partner in the firm, to represent her. I would expect the McCain campaign would assign her some heavy weights.
