Palin candidacy death spiral |
|
The bad news just keeps on coming. More than likely, by the end of the Rep. Nat'l Convention, Palin will fall on her sword and drop out from the race citing "family concerns" as her excuse. Of course, the big, bad ol' Democratic bullies will be blamed for everything to exonerate McCain from his appalling decision making abilities. It will be interesting to see if McCain picks Lieberman, evidently his first choice, or another hardcore christianist (other than Palin) to take her place.
Meanwhile, in the real world, everything is just rosy.

6. Though surely another pandering, nominal fundamentalist would do at least as well. |
|
There are thousands of 'em, many of greater political prominence and experience.

7. Yes, and her being a woman helps to get some more women to vote for McCain. |
|
That's what they hope anyway.

my spidey sense is tingling on this one. I think she'll site overwhelming family concerns and drop out. She'll probably blame the vast liberal media conspiracy for dragging her innocent family into it and thus garner sympathy votes for McCain.

3. I never would have believed... |
|
...that John McCain would be responsible for me having a Tantric type experience. This is truly a joy!

4. It looks to me like it's McCain who's spiraling out of control |
|
Wow. I've never seen a more discombobulated candidate run a more screwed up campaign before in my life.
Seriously, the Republicans would have been better off with the Real McGoo.

8. To back out now is to die. |
|
They can't back out now. Otherwise they'll look like wusses to the world, McCain will then dream of 45% as the good old days as he'll live with Bush in the 30's. You can take that to the bank, the Sarah Palin freak show will continue.
