Remember the scene in the movie Top Gun when Tom Cruise decided to win his first engagement by cheating (flying below 10,000 feet when 10,000 feet was stated as minimum training altitude), then violated a major flight safety rule by making a full-power pass over NAS Miramar's control tower?

If you do, you also remember "MAVERICK" was his callsign.
