How Obama Lost The Election (Asia Times Online)
Not picking Hillary and his "liberal" acceptance speech did it, McCain / Palin will win in a landslide "barring some unforseen event". Oh, and he and Michelle's "anger and flawed character".

3. I didn't know Rush Linbaugh owned Asia Times!
That has to be one of the stupidest, most biased articles I have seen in ages.

4. Rest assured there will be many "unforseen events" to come
There's nothing like a blanket disclaimer when it comes to destroying credibility.

11. He also "predicted" that Bush was going to attack Iran before the 2006 elections
I'd recommend ignoring "Spengler's" garbage.

6. "Hillary Clinton (D) Punjab" still pisses off a lot of Asians....
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 12:46 PM by McCamy Taylor
That is why this particular reporter was watching the speech with such a sour mood and the Asian Times has not gotten on board yet. No ethnic group likes to be used to foment fear and anger among the voters in a major American Party, especially one that bills itself as not being the party of exclusion and racism.

That bit of race baiting was not isolated. People claiming to be Obama supporters attributed Clinton's California win to anti-Black racism on the part of California's Asian population. If you do not believe me, go look at my journals.

Future Democratic candidates would be wise to remember this. What you do in the primaries affects the general election.

10. "Spengler" is not representative of most Asia Times Online writers
Keep that in mind. "Spengler" (an obvious reference to Oswald Spengler) is the resident Neocon at Asia Times Online. Other writers though, like Pepe Escobar, are anti-imperialist.
