This is my problem with the Bristol story.
What parent would accept the VP nomination knowing the shit your pregnant teenage daughter would be put through by this media?

This isn't a male/female thing, this is a PARENTAL issue.

6. Not this one. Secessionist Sarah does not make good chhoices for her children's best
interests; first risking her very risky unborn chiild, now choosing the media glare while her daughter needs her comfort most.

8. If you were so grossly over-ambitious that you waited around to give a political speech after your
water had broken at a time when you were 44 years old (i.e., high risk pregnancy), the water breaking was a month early (extra-high-risk pregnancy), and you were carrying a child with a chromosomal condition that often leads to problematic births (super-extra-high-risk pregnancy) -- do you really think your kids well-being would rank very high as compared with your political ambitions?

10. its a judgment issue.....that's what we have to keep pushing to the public
what a horrible lack of judgment to accept this nomination knowing that your daughter would be put through this media blitz.

and equally bad judgment to fly to TX in the 7th month of a high risk pregnancy, have your water break while in TX, ignore it so you could give a speech to a bunch of oil execs, fly back to AK still not having seen a doctor, still leaking amniotic fluid and passing up the services of a level 3 NICU so you could then drive another 45+ minutes to a less equipped hospital to deliver you child almost 26 hours after your water broke!!!!

This woman's judgment is off the charts poor!!!!

11. Excellent point.
And one that any decent parent should have thought about.

12. Still Thinking
Don't we find it strange that the daughter at 5 months pregnant looks heavier than the mother did at 8 months? Could this heaviness be due to pounds put on during the Trigg pregnancy and not a new one? We'll know for sure if and when it's reported that Bristol has miscarried and there'll be no "new" baby.

13. Yes, she should have turned down the VP nomination so that Bristol could feel guilty about that
For the rest of her life.
