For all those who say stop with all the Palin threads, you have to admit...
it sure beats the primaries (and even after) when we were fighting amongst ourselves. At least now we are going after the common enemy. I agree that the Palin threads about the pregnant daughter should stop, but there is so much more to this Palin nomination which is not related to her family and shows what miserable judgement McCain had in choosing her. Just my take.

1. Had the blogosphere not gone after the TRUTH about her, from many angles,
we would still be hearing just the spin and the hype from the MSM, and that is a fact.

3. The blogosphere has some of it right and some of it wrong.
Don't believe everything you read. The MSM has issues, but the blogosphere is certainly not a fountain of truth.

9. I fully understand how to read the blogosphere and make up my own mind, thanks.

My point was, the blogosphere did the digging, which was impossible for the MSM to ignore, and THEY are the ones who eventually had to cough up the reliable truth.

12. Okay, but it's just that a lot of stuff that I've been reading
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 04:15 PM by Blue_In_AK
on the blogs, that's being reported as gospel fact, is just so false or slanted so far out of whack that it may end up backfiring on us. I certainly believe that Sarah is a poor choice for vice president, but she's been a good governor overall, and is admired here even by many Democrats. See, for example, this press release from Alaska's Democratic nominee for the U.S. House, Ethan Berkowitz.

ANCHORAGE, AK, AUGUST 29, 2008: Alaska Democratic Congressional nominee Ethan Berkowitz joins fellow Alaskans in congratulating Gov. Sarah Palin on having been selected as the Republican nominee for Vice President.

“This is an exciting day for Alaska,” said Berkowitz. “Governor Palin has made her name fighting corruption within her own party, and I was honored when she stepped across party lines and asked me to co-author her Ethics White Paper. I wish Governor Palin, her husband Todd, and their children, the best of luck as they embark on this journey.”

Maybe he's just being polite, but the fact is that she did ask him to co-author her ethics paper, and she has attempted to work in a bipartisan way with our legislature. She's just not the demon that she's being portrayed as.

5. thank you liberal bloggers for trying to cut through the MSM filth
we've done a great job on combating the RNC spin on Palin. We can use her to bring down McCain if done right.

8. Oh, please! We all know the cyncal RNC is the enemy. And rash McZombie decisions.
No one said the daughter is an enemy. We are not attacking the daughter. Poor youngster is pregnant and thus had to rush into marriage.

Many of us just think the fundamentalist extremist governor has not communicated her values to her own family in an effective way.

The woman promoted by the RNC as qualified to be Vice President in part because she's a wonderful "Hockey Mom" did not give her daughter useful coaching on pregnancy prevention.

by running on the Repub ticket? Ridiculous post.
