The REAL Reason They Chose Palin... Randi is on FIRE today! |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 03:07 PM by demdog78
No, it's not because she's a woman. No, it's not because she's a govenor. No, it's not because she's hot (in a naughty librarian way)
It's because she is DUMB! "...What is it the VP does?"
Think about it. They put the dumbest people in the highest positions so Cheney & Bush can pretty much make them do whatever they want them to do.
Seriously.
How else could Cheney remain president? McCain will tow the line and Palin is so dumb that she will just be happy to be there.
What say you?
OH, one more note. Her mayorship... it wasn't a partisan election. She won by running on "abortion" by sending little pink packets to citizens. She won by receiving roughtly 600 signatures.

9. First of all, she's completely nuts and won't be as easy to manipulate as the neocons think. |
|
She'll belong to the fundies, and if the fundies ever clash interests with the cons, the fundies will win. She's evil and vindictive and won't take any shit. Second, she's pretty much being controlled by her husband, who seems to be every bit as much of a wingnut loon as she is. They'd team up with the fundies, kick the neocon influence out, and establish the United Christian States of America. All your worst nightmares would come true, and we'd long for the days of Bush and McCain.

|
My prediction is based mostly on a gut feeling. We should be very, very afraid of a Sarah Palin presidency. That's why. I think that she'd be too erratic and dangerous to be controlled by the cons or the corps.

You know...the one where she says she will have to have answered for her exactly what it is that the VP DOES.
That may have been her audition for the job!

Nor will Bush or Cheney's voice be a factor. The only opinions that matter are those of the corporate heads who run the current Administration.
But she is compliant, and meets the minimum Republican standards for vindictiveness and corruption. They know they can count on her to make the wrong decisions in their favor.

The comedians who proudly use that word and the Palin daughter's boyfriend's proud self-description with that word had me using it freely.
Point taken.

33. Can we not call them dumb? |
|
The Republicans have been smart enough to win nine out of the last fourteen presidential elections. And, yes, while the last two were stolen, we weren't smart enough to figure out how to stop them.
So, what does that say about us?
Bush certainly isn't stupid. He is a poor speaker and intellectually incurious, but I certainly don't think he is stupid.
And, if you call Palin stupid and she puts a couple of words together in a sentence, she has exceeded expectations and is a winner in the eyes of the public.
We have plenty of things to attack Palin on besides her intelligence - AIP, flip-flops, lack of experience, ties to Abramoff and Stevens, etc, etc.

36. a friend who thinks everything out for days before rendering an opinion |
|
said today, "It is irresponsible of her to run. She knows she's not qualified."
WOW. think about that statement for a while -- as it calls her to task for her own ambition over country.
What I actually see here is ODD. I see her actually undoing them. they are underestimating her fealty to her husband and church. She is not going to take orders from them as soon as she can afford not to. She got rid of men who were in their positions for loooong time-- accused them of ethics violations.
you don't think she'd have some stuff on old cheney and mcpain? I see in her someone who's so green and so self-inflated, she doesn't understand moving up in the ranks, the way things are done. I should capitalize that. I work in a business much like politics and there is a WAY things are done. The burning ambitious think they will do it differently....and sometimes they do. By stabbing the people in the back who got them there (their eventual descent is painful, though). that article by the woman who knows her said this-- she stabbed everyone in the back who helped her.
she will be the undoing of mccain. she might poison him, or set him up -- something. she will get rid of him -- and cheney, too. Once she's IN power, she will think she can put an end to him and she just might do it.
If seh weren't even worse than bush, this might be satisfying -- but as it is, it's just a revolving door of backstabbers and now a newbie who doesn't know how the game is played. She's ego-manical enough to be dangerously reckless and she has a history of being just that.
