What Is Karl Rove's Plan? How will he get McCain in the White House?
With all the Sarah Palin stuff out there, I can not help but wonder if this is all a plan by Karl Rove. What could he be up to? I hope and pray Democrats do not get to cocky and arrogant and think we got it in the bag this November. Any ideas on what Rove/The GOP can or will do to get McCain in the White House? I don't think Palin appeals to anyone but their base. They have got to know they don't have a chance which makes me nervous as hell that something is being cooked up. Theories?

1. I'm pretty sure that at this point there are a very lot of repubs
rethinking their idolization of Karl Rove. He fucked up big time.

3. I've heard Rove wanted Romney
McCain wanted Lieberman.

So in a fit of rage that he wouldnt be allowed by his campaign strategists to have Lieberman, McCain chose the lowest person on their list of remote possibilities.

4. Sit on the sidelines and talk smack. He isn't a player in the McCain camp.
Get over the mass fetishization of Rove.

5. Perhaps Rove believes this is not an election worth winning?

And that the next 4 years look to be pretty awful what with all of Shrub's chickens coming home to roost? A shot economy, suffocating debt, unemployed workers, and endless wars that turned out to be quite surge resistant?

Serves 2 purposes. Cleanses the GOP of it's so-called maverick elements while at the same time leaving the monumental task of cleaning up the mess from 8 years of Bush misrule in the hands of the Democrats. And during those 4 years he'll will do everything he can to saddle our guys with the blame.

That way after 4 years of the Dems being beaten up over these issues, he can bring back the regency in the form of Jeb Bush in 2012.

7. Rove
I'm not sure that rove wants McCain to win. I think Rove and his ilk got all they wanted (and then some) during the GWB administrations. They probably want to see Obama win, so he can be blamed for the coming recession.
