Sharks are sharks. Amongst the feeding frenzy, they'll find a way to convince their masters that McCain would be better off without her. She's going down.
All that hand wringing early on, that nominating Obama would be bring a 1972 style defeat. It still might happen ...to John Mcain.

Some people use it like 'swiftboat' to connote an hysterical or under-handed frenzy over someone's record. (Not saying that the OP is or isn't.)
Judge Bork went down for sound reasons. He was, in fact, a frigging nut. (And has demonstrated that through the years since.)
