I think Palin's about to take a trip under the bus. |
|
Maybe it's just me but the tone from the McLame Camp and right-wing hate radio now has moved from defending Palin to attacking Obama and the media in a totally over-the-top way. Sounds like they know she's done...and are paving the way for her withdrawal and will blame it on the smears and sexism from the media and the Dems. Watch.

2. It's important to note that "the media" in this case is not Democratic. |
|
The M$M is largely comprised of Republican-supporting interests. But of course they won't mention that about themselves... :eyes:

3. "what, so you can't handle a single week of national politics?" |
|
That will be the immediate (and correct) response from the Dems. It will just underscore the argument that McCain picked a woefully unqualified country bumpkin.
I don't think they'll be that stupid. Wait, what am I saying? How did they get in this predicament in the first place? ;-)
The main reason, though, they've moved from defending Palin to attacking Obama is because 1) they enjoy attacking more than defending, no matter who it is, and 2) they know they have a dud in Palin, so they know they can't get the proles energized in support, but they energize them in fear of Obama.
It doesn't mean that they're going to kick her off the ticket; it just means they'll forget the week occurred and go back to attacking Obama like before.
(Q: "How do you explain Bush's admission that the US tortures people?" A: "Obama's a gay black Muslim, that's how.")

They don't toss their base (or their issues) under the bus like Democrats do.
And that's one of the reasons why they've been so successful come election time over the past 15 years.
