Here's my thinking. She may have been a Republican in the past, but likely let her membership slide while being involved in the Alaska secessionist thing. Now she's back in the Republican fold. My question is, does she actually have the right documentation to be a Republican?

2. She's registered Republican
But was registered AIP for a couple years in the mid 90s. Her husband was registered AIP until 2002, and now is not registered with any political party.

3. Are we SURE she's registered?
She's fucked up so many other things, I'm wondering if she just plain forgot. Wouldn't THAT be interesting.

4. The person who is in charge of the voter registration said she was
And also said Todd Palin was registered as AIP until 2002.

But she could be covering for Sarah on the AIP stuff - you know how small town politics work. The newspapers have been afraid to say anything bad against her so they don't lose potential favors or job ops.
