It has to be said folks: It's OK for a 16 year old girl to get pregnant |
|
and marry an 18 year old hockey player, but it's not OK for two adults to marry if they happen to be of the same sex? Oh, and no one is to comment on the first couple, but everyone in the world is invited to interfere with the second!

3. That argument always baffles me. |
|
If you allow same-sex marriage, pretty soon every other guy on the street will want to marry his horse! Or his dog! Or a cow!
Because, of course, loving another person is the same as wanting to marry an animal.

It is no more baffling than the idea that gays marrying will make everyone gay. |
|
That's the one that gets to me. As though somehow if gays get married, every heterosexual will suddenly start craving same gender sex.

9. And heterosexual marriages that were previously just fine will falter and crumble. |
|
'Cause allowing same-sex marriage will destroy marriage as we know it. The whole list of arguments is baffling, really!

2. Teenage pregnant girls are deserving of privacy. |
|
Unless, of course, they want to have an abortion. Then their private lives and their reproductive organs belong to the conservatives who want to tell her what to do with those reproductive organs.

On how many new born babies they can handle... all of the abortions they are against would produce babies that someone needs to care for...
