11. Next Week..
As in "Oh Shit the convention is over and we've got only seven weeks until the election and the running mate has gone back to Alaska to face impeachment."

THAT next week?

2. Is this a sneaky way of stirring up the base by reinforcing the notion . . .
That the "Liberal Media" are smearing Palin? I mean, the Enquirer revels in the fact that it's a snotrag, but I guess there are some people who think it's a part of the mainstream. I don't think any of those people would vote for Barack Obama, but the 'Licans seem to have abandoned fact-based pronouncements entirely these days.

3. They went after Edwards when his wife has terminal cancer. They are equal opportunity
of course that won't stop the right wing from claiming that its a liberal publication.

5. Ummmm... Who do you think reads the National Enquirer????
Seriously??? Do you think any liberals read this rag?

I truly don't think anyone can hang the "liberal media" tag on the National Enquirer.

10. You're being fact-based again. You need to get with the program!
I'm thinking of some big jerk -- Fred Thompson, shall we say -- waving copies of magazines with Palin's picture on the cover around on TV, maybe even pounding the table in that endearing, Fred Thompson way of his, and haranguing the hosts (who've never touched newsprint in their careers) about the perfidy of the press.

Maybe they could film it for a later episode of "Crime Scene -- Bad Actor."

6. After the John Edwards scandal, the 'Pukes know they'll be
shooting blanks if they attempt to use the "Enquirer has no credibility" argument!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!

7. Let's face it--
a lot of folks read the Enquirer at the checkout stand, and many buy it. This story could be very damaging for the GOP.

8. Oh please, please, please, let it be true!!!
I'm sorry if anyone thinks that is bad of me but I can't stand this lady and want to see her, McCain and the whole republican party go down in flames and burn until there is nothing left of them, no ashes, no dust, nothing!!! I want them removed from the face of the earth forever and ever!

Wow, I feel better now!!

13. It goes way beyond dislike.
What McCain is trying to do to this country is reckless and dangerous. There is no way that woman should be VP or P...or should he! I think both political careers are pretty much over. Their little fantasy land should implode soon.

9. The BEAUTY of this Enquirer Story is
the Reichwing faught and faught for the MSM to give the Edwards story credibility. No, after the MSM finally wavered and did so, they have no choice but to lend credibility to these allegations about PAlin.

And that's not even the beautiful part!

Democrats need not say ONE FUCKING WORD!!!

Oh sweet irony!

12. Oh! I kept seeing references to The Affair,
and I thought it was referring to her daughter (although I thought the wording was odd.)

I was going to say that if she'd actually had this affair we probably would have heard about it from someone in Alaska, but I said the same thing about Edwards, too.

If it's true, I hope they present the evidence soon so we can move on to McCain's next VP pick.

14. Who's have EVER thought that John Edwards might actually have been helping us out last month?
Wow... seriously, someone needs to write a book about the past 2 year election cycle.. change the names and call it a best seller. But no one would have thought this would actually be non-fiction.. it's absolutely unbelievable:

Hillary Clinton runs for President
Her Husband is accused of Racisism
She gets BEAT
By a BLACK GUY
She & her husband end up endorsing that same guy who beat them
The only other main competitor in the race is found to have been having an affair

McCain's campaign is all but dead in late 2007
He comes back and ends up winning his parties nomination
Beating an Evangelical, a Business owner, Mr. 911 himself & a well known Actor
Instead of picking any of those above for VP he picks a female
With little experience, and a pregnant 17 year old daughter, amoung a growing list of other items that seems to increase by the hour.

Seriously.. i'd pay to see this movie.

15. I just saw a recent "National Enquirer" which gave me the impression
that the "Edwards crew" will not likely "find" dirt on Palin ...

two things in it ...

1. Rosie O'Donnel posing at a museum, with a T. Rex ... caption (twice): "Which is scarier?"

2. NYTimes "lifted one of our stories word for word" - end quote was "Where did they learn to report? Dan Rather?" - um, it was never proven that his evidence was faked
