Who else thinks Palin's speech will be great?
Considering she majored in journalism in college and was a sports announcer. I think she will hit all major talking points and the head with precision.

1. It will outdraw McCombover's acceptance speech, ratings-wise
However, I doubt it'll draw more than 3/4 the 38 million who tuned in to Obama last Thursday.

3. She has had days to practice the speech they prepared for her - she should nail it
Anything less than that would be a joke. All she has to do is deliver a teleprompter message without laughing.

4. Yeah, the generic VP speech they wrote before she was even picked.
And with her commanding oratorical delivery... :*

5. Well, being as she didnt write it and she will read it off
a teleprompter, it will probably be acceptable.

6. I expect it to surprise a lot of people,
alert dems to job that has to be done; will attract a lot of attention.

She is smart and attractive. She's a 'new' player, will feel like breath of fresh air, and as someone here has said, part of 'reps for change' meme.

But they'll be applauded.

9. It will be great - M$M will tell us so - and backfire on them in an odd way.
McCain's speech tomorrow won't "live up to" Palin's!

I'm expecting her to do adequately. And then look like a big putz.

19. I think..
all this focusing on attacking Obama will eventually backfire.

Yesterday it was all:
POW, attack, POW, attack, POW, attack, POW, "angry left", oh and Thompson's endless throat clearing.

Tonight hasn't been much different.

This stands in stark contrast to Denver where the DNC exuded hope, unity and had every major speaker laying out some part of democratic policy, even while drawing their attacks on the republicans. So far I have heard little to no real attempts from the repubs at the RNC which explain policy. This could so easily be put right into Obama's "More of the Same" message.

Without question it will be a home run...And they released a portion of it already and it sounds good so far.

I think the Journalist will do well in front of the camera.

You let me know, and I'll take your word for it. This is the decompress, de-stress portion of my day, so I won't be watching something on tv likely to raise my blood pressure. ;)
