Palin's personal problems will catch up to her on their own..we need to step back and let it happen |
|
Let's focus on:
- Her attempts to remove certain books from the Wasilla library when she was mayor (Book burner!)
- Her sympathy with the AIP, of which her husband is a card-carrying member (Secessionist anti-American!)
- Her belief that the earth is 6000 years old and her desire to have that tought in public schools (Bible-thumping wacko!)
- Her attempts to have her brother-in-law fired from the Alaska State Troopers because he was mean to her sister (Abuse of power!)
- Her statement that the Pledge of Allegiance was "good enough for the Founding Fathers..." (It was written in the 1890s.... by a SOCIALIST)
Her affair, if it is true, will get shaken out. So will rumors about her and her daughter's pregnancies. We should leave those alone... those stories don't need our help.

"She doesn't believe there is global warming." My audience are folks who just found out about "An Inconvenient Truth". Hey, don't knock it--they have the zeal of the newly converted!

2. Not if the media drops it..... |
|
We've got to keep her corruption and lies in the spot light, or the "stop picking on this poor little woman" crap will be accepted by the media. They're already backing off from her abundance of scandals.
But I agree we should lay off the family stuff now, and go after her professional disasters..

5. I think we should attack, but just not on the issues that will turn off voters. |
|
All the matters you mention should be hammered. It's just the moronic sex stories that will keep Obam-able voters from getting out and voting for their hopes over the fear mongering of the Republicans. Her children and her sex life won't do us any good as attack points.
The crazy ass shit she wants the government to do will cost her support when it's publicized.

6. Just open the can and stir when necessary. |
|
I contacted Common Cause last year in June about a potential local campaign finance violation to find out how to request an investigation. Next thing I knew they had made the request to the local prosecutor. Republican prosecutor handed it off to a Democratic special prosecutor.
Special prosecutor found numerous felony violations and endicted the guy. Trial is suppose to happen in October.
The can of worms was opened by local Republicans. Charges were quashed by a Republican controlled election board with James Bopp Jr berating the lone Democrat on the board. I stirred the can some more.
