The story says that you owe everything in your life to the military.

Sorry, but I think garbage collectors and sewer workers and all kinds of hard working Americans have built this country and paid taxes to buy those desks and pay that teacher's salary.

Veterans are to be respected for their service -- but they do not constitute a higher class of citizenship.
