Seriously. I'm going to vomit if I watch one more minute of this freak show. |
|
And I can't believe how my heart fills up with disdain for thousands of people I don't know, to the point where I just can't take it.
All those self-satisfied, bigoted, lying, ignorant, narrow-minded, uninformed, intolerant fools, talking about being American.
Lord help me, but I'm hating tonight.

1. It's horrendous. I feel the same way; it's just nauseating. They are |
|
horrid horrid horrid people and they lie and they steal and they cheat and they are mindless sheeple and I hate having them here in my beautiful state.

2. I'm right there with you. |

I can't stand to hear the speakers speak or watch the crowd react. My IQ just continues to drop watching it.

3. Queue in a Biden or Obama speech. |

It will help lower the blood pressure.

Sorry, I'm in a weird mood. I know, you are trying to stay informed, but listening to them will only discourage you.
Or, every time you hear someone say something really stupid or lie, write a check to the campaign.

6. I had to turn it off, too. And don't want to hear TV commentary |

pretending there is anything reasonable about the right wing old tired standard lines being rolled out once again, the facts be damned. Slamming the damn liberals, with pauses for the laugh track.
We've been in Republican land for eight years now folks, and it ain't pretty. So the lies hurt even more when we remember from whence we came.
It used to be fun to have more scrutiny of the Right in the media. It was still slanted pro-corporate, but there was more of an attempt to appear balanced. Now the right wing slant is so blatant, it gets tiring and I need to take breaks.
I'll go back to catch a dab of Sarah Palin before turning away again. If I missed a doozie, I can review the video on CSpan's website.

8. I've been watching it with Coltrane in the background. |

I understand. If they weren't so smug it would be one thing. Actually it spans party. Any time two or more people congregate to confirm their hypothesis, and yet they're wrong, they tend to amplify belief in their idea.
We have to be vigilant. To watch that we aren't going down the wrong path. It's that they have gone down the wrong path over and over, and yet still arrogantly claim to be right, that is so very ill and wrong.
If a republican sees the light, I forgive and let them in. Otherwise they are my enemy. The same can go for liberals. Anyone. But I have to work hard to not judge. It is a contradiction. But we are trying to raise the level of the human condition. Unfortunately there are conflicting theories. It just seems that theirs don't work. At all. We've tried them. You don't have to be a Nazi to balance a budget.
ARgh. I guess that was a bit convoluted. Haha.

Do ALL female middle-aged to elderly Republican supporters have pimples? I'm watching the convention right now and I'm guessing the answer is yes.

10. I can't stand it any more either. |

I turned it off about 15 minutes ago. I can only take a certain amount of self-serving bullshit, and I hit my limit early.
All those flags, so little of America. I'm so mad at these fools I don't even want to watch Gidget. I'll read about it tomorrow instead. Grr.

vomit as soon as Huckabee started talking. I missed the last half hour of the circus....
The rest of the dogs are outside just in case they are as sickened by Ghouliani as I am...
