where did they get that? Nobody knew of her before last Friday.

1. At one time her approval rate in alaska was 90%
that was before Troopergate and other stuff, since then its dropped quite a bit.

Objectively, a governor in a state which actually has more people than moose with a LOWER approval rating will still be more popular (because he/she will have more supporters).

5. She was a popular mayor. Gave tax money back to people and left the town in debt.
Handed out money.
Left the town in $20 million debt.
